Sai Baba is revered as one of the greatest saints ever seen in India. He continues to have a large following and is worshipped as a God incarnate. Nothing definite is known about His family or religion.
He appeared in Shirdi when He was about sixteen years old and remained there throughout His life. He never distinguished anyone on the basis of caste, creed or religion. He preached the universal religion of love.
He performed miracles to alleviate the suffering of poor people, cured people's ailments and helped them in their progress towards a spiritual way of life.
Even today an ever increasing number of people hear and experience the same blessed, intimate and powerful assurance:
